A Season Shade
Seasons unveil impermanence within permanence, a cycle that endlessly repeats, yet never remains the same. Just as the seasons shift, I find myself oscillating between change and constancy. I am caught in an eternal cycle of transformation, much like the fleeting moments I captured, never fully becoming, yet never truly staying.
This work explores the paradox between impermanence and permanence, employing the cyclical nature of the seasons as a metaphor for my internal struggles. It reflects the tension between the desire for personal transformation and the quest to embrace my true self —sometimes yearning for autumn to arrive sooner, yet at other times wishing summer would linger a little longer. It offers a lens into the nature of identity and the ever-evolving journey of self-discovery.
